NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Cancer Society of The Bahamas and the Willie Mae Pratt Centre for Girls recently received a generous donation of toiletries and personal care items from the Bahamas Union of Teachers Women’s Committee.

The supplies, including napkins, bedsheets, pillows, and dental hygiene products, are expected to benefit over 100 women.

Committee President Aniska Gibson shared that initiatives like this are at the heart of what they do, showing their commitment to supporting the community.

Representatives from the Cancer Society and the centre for girls say these donations make a big difference, as items like these have a greater impact on the lives of their residents than many might realize.

The committee is urging corporate Bahamas to get more involved with initiatives like this and expresses gratitude to those who assisted with this project.
