2026 Trial Date Set for Man Accused of Murdering Jason Lamm
A man accused of the brazen, broad daylight murder of 24-year-old Jason Lamm is set to stand trial in 2026.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man accused of the brazen, broad daylight murder of 24-year-old Jason Lamm is set to stand trial in 2026.
Sidney Hart Jr’s trial is scheduled for February 9, 2026.
According to police, around noon on January 17, 2024, Lamm was at the intersection of Parkgate and Village Roads when a car occupied by Hart and others pulled alongside his. The occupants of the car shot Lamm, and he died at the scene.
He was killed days before he was set to stand trial for the March 1, 2021 murder of Antonio Russell at Bernard Road.
Hart remains on remand at the Bahamas Department of Corrections.
