NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A judge has set bail at $30,000 for a man who’s been awaiting trial for more than three years after finding that he hasn’t been tried within a reasonable time.

Jarado Marshall, 21, faces charges of murder and attempted murder.

On January 18, 2022, Claudette Capron, 60, was headed to a prayer meeting at Resurrection Power Kingdom Ministry when she was struck in the chest by stray bullets.

Prosecutors say Marshall was shooting at Antwan Adderley and Emilio Ramsey when Capton was struck.

Marshall will have to wear an ankle bracelet, keep a curfew, and report weekly to a police station as a condition of bail.
