NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 31-year-old man is behind bars in connection with a recent murder on Dunmore Street in the capital.

Prosecutors say Antin Seymour is responsible for the May 15th killing of Keno Janvier.

According to police, Janvier was shot and killed in an ambush shortly after pulling up to a home on Dunmore Street.

Seymour appeared before acting Chief Magistrate Ancella Evans, where he was not required to enter a plea to the murder charge.

He is expected back in court on October 1st to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
