NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Forty students between the ages of 7 and 17-years-old from a variety of schools on the island had the opportunity to attend a two-day acting workshop as part of the Island House Film Festival.

The Bahamas Artist Movement, also known as BAM, has been involved with the Island House Film Festival since the festival’s inception.

BAM’s Founder, Rowena Sutherland-Poitier tells us she appreciates how intentional the festival is with their workshop efforts.

Taimak Saunders is one of the lead acting instructors with BAM, and tells us the workshops let the kids dive right in.
