Kaché Knowles, founder of iisabahamianbey, hosted the 4th annual Tingsmas Market recently. The pop-up event centers around bringing together local vendors and consumers, giving vendors an opportunity to display their products while attendees get a head start on their Christmas shopping. It’s a pop-up event many have grown to anticipate!

The gates of the National Art Gallery opened at 10 a.m., welcoming attendees of all ages.

“I had a great time last year. It was a wonderful environment. I love the fact that you have local Bahamian goods and they make really good trinkets or gifts to give to the family. And I’ve been following the brand on Instagram from the beginning, so it’s really interesting to see the fruition of everything and it’s honestly just a great time.”

“Why did you come out to Tingsmas today? I really want to learn more about my culture, and I’m an artist and I want to incorporate Bahamian culture in my art someday.”

By the end of the event, organizers recorded a total of one thousand Tingsmas attendees.
