NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Six men have been arrested by police for the discovery of five handguns in separate incidents last week.
Thirty rounds of ammunition also seized in those arrests between October 24-30.
These arrests come as armed robberies are on the rise.
Police Commissioner Clayton Fernander is promising a crackdown on illegal gun possession as a part of the force’s strategy to clamp down on crime.
