54-Year-Old Man Accused of Raping 91-Year-Old Mother
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 54-year-old man is behind bars after prosecutors say he raped his 91-year-old mother.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 54-year-old man is behind bars after prosecutors say he raped his 91-year-old mother.
Prosecutors allege the incident took place on June 24 at the New Providence home where the victim and her son reside.
The man was not required to enter a plea to an incest charge during his initial appearance before Acting Chief Magistrate Ancella Evans.
He was denied bail, and the matter has been adjourned to October 8 for the presentation of voluntary bill of indictment papers.
Our News does not identify victims of sexual assault and is not naming the man to avoid identifying his mother.
