NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Free National Movement Leader Michael Pintard wants the government to give some answers on the collapse of FTX.

Pintard says it’s an issue that cannot be ignored.

Pintard says the Official Opposition is dismayed at the events, while expressing confidence in the Securities Commission.

In April, FTX broke ground on its headquarters in western New Providence. At the time it unveiled plans and sketches of two hotel towers, offices, and an athletic center.

Earlier this year, Senior Policy Advisor Jerome Fitzgerald said government was looking to launch the first blue carbon credit before the end of 2022.

The credit was expected to be launched through FTX.
