Junior High School in West End to be Complete by June 2022

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Nearly 400 students will be roaming the halls of a new school in Holmes Rock, Grand Bahama next year.

The ministry of works has promised to have the facility complete by June 2022.

That’s good news for nearly 400 students who would have had to commute several miles to Freeport just to go to school.

District Superintendent Ivan Butler says the school will be fulfilling a dire need.

The Works Minister said he was proud of the quality of work, but he has asked contractors to speed things up as he says the facilities are needed urgently.
