NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Our news team returned to the Kool Acres community Sunday where a few residents and onlookers remained.

Shortly after, a caravan of vehicles belonging to the Ministry of Works, the Department of Immigration and the Royal Bahamas Defence and Police Forces arrived.

Buildings Control Officer in the Ministry of Works, Craig Delancy, provided an update.

While our news team attempted to speak with onlookers, all declined to speak on camera some privately expressing their frustration however, eluding to the fact that they feel the fire may have been set intentionally.

Delancy, noted that the various government agencies were on the scene to ensure law and order

Now Delancy could not confirm how many persons lived in that community but he did express this particular concern.
