Lewis Nominates for FNM Leader

Central Grand Bahama MP Iram Lewis nominated for Free National Movement party leader ahead of the FNM convention next week.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Free National Movement Chairman Carl Culmer reminding party members that they are one big family, adding they can’t “continue to cannibalize each other.”

He made the comments after Central Grand Bahama MP Iram Lewis nominated for party leader ahead of the FNM convention next week.

As he officially entered the FNM leadership race today, Lewis said he has already taken steps to unify the party by attempting to mend broken relationships.

Party Chairman Carl Culmer insists the internal conflicts must come to an end.

Lewis became the second person to officially be nominated as a candidate for leadership.

East Grand Bahama MP, Kwasi Thompson completed the process on Tuesday. Marco City MP Michael Pintard is scheduled to be nominated on Thursday morning. The FNMs convention committee will host a press conference Thursday afternoon.
