NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Rock Sound, Eleuthera, is poised to see a new medical facility as part of Doctors Hospital’s Family Island Expansion Plan. 

That’s according to Chief Financial Officer Dennis Deveaux who says meeting the growing demand for healthcare across the islands has become a top priority for the hospital. 

And as Doctor’s Hospital expands its footprint in the Family Islands, residents who previously had limited access to essential medical services can now benefit from more comprehensive care.

Deveaux says the new urgent care centers bring critical diagnostics and stabilizing treatment closer to home, with a clear process for patients who need more advanced care.

But with expansion comes challenges – staffing these new facilities is one of them. 

Doctor’s Hospital is not only investing in infrastructure but also in talent recruitment.
