NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A sweet treat is a traditional gift for Valentine’s Day, but how can couples put a special spin on a yearly tradition?

Valentine’s Day is less than a week away and many of you are probably wondering what you’re doing for the day of love.

The search led to the Graycliff Chocolatier, where we met Chef Celeste Smith, an expert in the field who taught the art of chocolate making.

The first step is roasting the beans, which brings out that rich flavor we all love.

Next, the husks are removed from the bean using a special machine.

The nib is then crushed into a paste, finally going to this machine. It’s now on to the temperature room, where different types of chocolate are mixed at different temperatures.

Milk, dark, and white chocolate, were all sampled, the dark being a favorite.

You and your special someone can always go to Graycliff to create magic of your own, and to satisfy that sweet tooth I’m sure you both share.
