NASSAU, BAHAMAS – “The Commonwealth Parliamentary Association is currently hosting their 47th Regional Conference at the British Colonial Hotel. During the conference, they have intentionally placed emphasis on women in politics. Minister of Labour and Public Service Pia Glover Rolle was a presenter during Saturdays session where a room filled with female delegates were able to have open conversation concerning various gender related issues. Rolle told me following her presentation that forums like these are crucial for regional development.”

During the conference, the topic of women’s health became a point of discussion, highlighting concerns of both physical and mental health.

In an article published by Talkspace earlier this year studies show that 75% of women who are in leadership positions suffer from imposter syndrome, burnout, anxiety and depression.

Glover-Rolle says she personally maintains her mental health by following this advice.
