NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The moment you step inside you are greeted by an enchanting world of indigenous arts and crafts.

Friends, Moya Strachan and Bonaventia Culmer were inspired to open the gallery just west of Elizabeth Avenue after Strachan, an educator, and artist, got the idea while teaching online art classes during the pandemic.

The gallery offers a vibrant tapestry of colors, textures, and stories displaying local artists like  Brian Rankine, a defense force officer and self-taught artist.

The Bay street Gallery offers a glimpse into The Bahamas’ rich cultural tapestry, showcasing the power of art to transcend boundaries, connect, and inspire.

Visitors are encouraged to immerse themselves in native arts and crafts on weekdays and Saturdays.
