Accountant Freed On Bail for Stealing Charges

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – An accountant who worked at the Red Cross is accused of stealing Super Value gift certificates intended for the needy for his personal use. 

Sean Brennen Sr, 54, of Peak’s Close, Leeward East, faced 12 counts of stealing by reason of employment at his arraignment before Magistrate Kendra Kelly today.

Prosecutors said over an eight-month period, from April 2021 to November 2021, Brennen stole gift certificates valued at $8,815.

Brennen denied the charges.

The trial is set for January 17, 2023.

In the interim, Brennen been freed on $7,000 bail.
