Accused Moped Shooter Charged with Murder

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 22-year-old man suspected of the fatal shooting of 24-year-old Ricardo Rolle is in prison on a murder charge.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 22-year-old man suspected of the fatal shooting of 24-year-old Ricardo Rolle is in prison on a murder charge.

Brentiano Sands is accused of the November 27 murder.

According to police, Rolle and another man were outside of a home on Nelson Road when two gunmen on a moped shot at them.

Rolle was shot in the chest and left hand. He died from his injuries in hospital.

Sands didn’t have to enter a plea to the charge when he stood before Acting Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley. Bail was denied and he’s next due in court on April 4 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
