NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A murder suspect will remain in custody pending his trial after a judge denied his bail application.
Justice Cheryl Grant-Thompson refused bail for Omar Atkinson citing the number of retaliatory killings.
Atkinson is one of three men charged with the October 29, 2022 murder of Fred Lifaite.
He was on bail for the 2021 murder of Kendino McDonald when he was gunned down at Sixth Street in Coconut Grove.
