NASSAU, BAHAMAS – An accused killer who spent four years in jail awaiting trial has been granted bail.

Justice Cheryl Grant-Thompson set bail at $9,900 for Kerwy Dufrene.

He’s accused of the October 12, 2019 murder of Linert Dumel in Excellence Estates.

Once he’s released on bail, Dufrene will relocate to Abaco.

He has to check in daily at a police station, wear an ankle bracelet and keep a curfew.
