That’s one of the many delightful concoctions we savored at the renowned Club Rolle-X in Snug Corner, Acklins.

Thirty-two years ago, Henry Rolle made the pivotal decision to return home from Nassau, despite prevailing misconceptions about life on Acklins.

Encouraged by his mother, Henry has never looked back, relishing the opportunity to showcase his culinary prowess in his hometown.

And residents travel great distances for the tantalizing flavors Henry serves up.

Over the years, Henry has diligently honed his skills in the kitchen, refining his menu to perfection.

He proudly proclaims that cooking is a rite of passage for all Acklins men, a tradition he says is deeply ingrained in the island’s culture.

And he says he’s grateful for the influence of his ancestors, who fuel his passion.

And to his loyal supporters, especially those who guided us to the best spots upon our arrival in Acklins.
