NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Caribbean Association of National Telecommunication Organizations is a nonprofit organization representing 110 companies across 33 Caribbean countries. With the recent appointment of ALIV CEO John Gomez to the board, The Bahamas now has a seat at the table to help steer regional telecoms policies and improve technology that impacts our everyday lives.

Gomez telling Our News it was a journey.

CANTO provides a platform for Caribbean Telecommunications companies to collaborate on common challenges. But why is it so important for The Bahamas to have a voice? Its a question we put to Gomez.

Gomez will serve a two-year term on the board.

He also shared that the major takeaway for his company is the opportunity to exchange ideas and learn from regional counterparts.

Congratulations John from all of us here at Our TV.
