EXUMA, BAHAMAS – ALIV is putting down even deeper roots in Exuma, as the telecommunications company officially marks another expansion of its services on the island, years after first entering the Exuma market.

For ALIV Director of Sales Kieran Chase, the move is about more than just growing the company’s footprint.

“ In 2016, ALIV would have launched, and by 2018 we had our feet planted within the Exuma community. As we celebrate 10 years this year, this is a testament to our continued commitment to the Exuma community and the larger family islands.”

With more people relying on connectivity for everything from business to everyday life, Chase says where a customer lives shouldn’t determine the quality of service they receive.

“ We are fully dedicated and committed to continuing to provide the same experience that we would provide in New Providence elsewhere. And this is definitely a reflection of that. Exuma has been very good to us in terms of the customer feedback, the customer growth…”

The company is also looking beyond its commercial operations.

ALIV has been working with local government on community initiatives including a partnership involving the basketball court in George Town.

For Exuma Deputy Chief Councillor Monique Morley, that’s the kind of corporate involvement she wants to see continue.
