NASSAU, BAHAMAS – After experiencing some challenges with junkanoo ticket sales Monday, ALIV says Junkanooers will see more tickets available for boxing day as early as Tuesday afternoon.

Aliv Vice President of Marketing and Consumer Relations Amber Carey explains.

Carey says tickets are still available for the New Year’s Day Junkanoo parade.

One of those challenges? About 50 percent of tickets for both parades were reserved by the JCNP but that’s not all.

Despite the hickup, Carey says over 3,000 tickets were successfully purchased and processed on Monday.

We spoke to these residents who were disappointed in the ticket sales issue but are hopeful it will be sorted out in time for them to get tickets of their own.

However, if you still run into issues when trying to purchase tickets through the app, Carey gave another option.
