ANDROS, BAHAMAS – Lively singing and prayer, echoed outside the Living Waters Church of God #1 in Mastic Point, North Andros, as the community gathered for a prayer and healing service, remembering the lives of ten who died in the North Andros tragic plane crash on July 10th.

The Cessna 402 plane, which is a Flamingo aircraft, went down in the pine forests while approaching the San Andros runway a week ago.

The outpouring of grief could be felt throughout the service, evident in the singing mixed with cries of sorrow filling the air.

As the church rallied around some of the family members present, host Pastor Warren Mille says he understands the pain those left behind feel.

Meanwhile, some of the passengers had a connection to the island, three of them grew up and lived in the close-knit North andros Community, including Quinton Meyers, Macaro Rolle, and Nicholas Oliver Jr.

North and Central Andros Christian Council Treasurer Juliette Roberts says they were a big part of the community.

Also, giving the charge was Council President, Dr. Raymond Neilly, reminding the audience of the importance of those last moments after the crash.
