NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Department of Labour gearing up for another Labour on the Block event, this time in the Free Town Constituency.

The event is set for this Saturday, April 1st on the grounds of Pilgrim Baptist Church.

Administrator Sandra Fox says the church is looking forward to hosting the event.

She says the churches auditorium can comfortably hold around 400 people.

Area Member of Parliament Wayne Munroe reveal some of the agencies and businesses looking for employees include the RBDF, IHop, SMG, BTVI, and many others.

Bell says the Department of Labour will assist job seekers with resume preparation and with attire.

Department of Labour Acting Assistant Director Simone Thurston invites job seekers to come to the department on Thursday for job readiness assistance.
