NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A trial date has been set for a woman who’s accused of trying to kill her boyfriend after they had a heated row.

Antonice Clarke will strand trial for the April 16 attempted murder of Matthew Sweeting on April 5, 2027.

Prosecutors say Clarke deliberately ran over Sweeting with an SUV after he left the vehicle following their argument. Sweeting lost his leg as a result of the incident.

Clarke was arrested the same day after she turned herself in at the Carmichael Road Police Station.

Clarke, who’s still in custody, received the trial date when she appeared before Justice Gregory Hilton for a fixture hearing.
