Trial Date Set for Eleuthera Man Accused of Killing Daughter

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man accused of killing his infant daughter in 2013 will be tried in December.

Blounand Vedrine, of Gregory Town, Eleuthera, is charged with manslaughter in the September 6 death of five-month-old Berlindia Vedrine.

Vedrine’s case fell through the cracks when trials were suspended, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and had to be relisted.

Vedrine’s trial is now set to be heard by Justice Gregory Hilton on December 5.
