Aspiring To Draw Women Into the Sport of Golf

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – This weekend we chipped, hit and putted with Flamingos Women’s Golf Club 242 at their inaugural Women’s Golf Day International event.  

The Sports Center Golf Academy the venue for this weekend’s golf event, coordinated in partnership with the Bahamas women’s Golf Association.

On Saturday the women golfers competed for coveted prizes such as a round of golf at the Ocean Club Resort.

Our News was also there on Friday for the mini golf clinic and social.

Some men even hitting the green in support of the event, including Craig Flowers.

Organizers say they hope events such as this bring awareness to women’s golf and increase club membership further creating an environment for networking and of course healthy competitive fun.
