BANGLADESH – Tragedy struck in Bangladesh after a military jet crashed into a school campus in the capital Dhaka, killing at least 19 people and injuring more than 100 others, according to officials.

Local media reports say the Bangladesh Air Force jet went down just after 1 p.m. local time Monday at Milestone School and College, where dozens of students were caught in the impact.

Officials say many of the injured are in critical condition.

The government has declared a national day of mourning as investigators search for answers in the country’s deadliest air crash in recent history.
