NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Senior Vice President of Government Affairs and Special Projects, Vaughn Roberts, confirming Atlantis has expressed opposition to the notion of a Wendy’s restaurant being opened on Paradise Island.

The proposed location is the building that once housed the old Scotiabank.

Roberts says the conversation has been going on for over a year.

The Atlantis executive says the concern isn’t over competition, rather it is the contradiction with the branding and vision of the island of an idyllic and luxurious location.
