UNITED STATES – The “big fella” , DeAndre Ayton, from New Providence and his team won Game 6 of their series against the Rockets, 98–78, to take the series 4–2.

Ayton only had 7 points on 2–6 shooting, but he did his job, holding down the paint with 16 rebounds, and he had a block as well.

Old man LeBron James dug deep into his bag, dropping 28 points to go with 7 rebounds and 8 assists.

And the pride of Toyama, Japan, Rui Hachimura, had 21 points as well.

Amen Thompson had 18 to lead the Rockets.

Baseball

Jazz Chisholm and the New York Yankees pulled a 7–2 win over the Baltimore Orioles, Friday night.

The Jazz man went 1–3 with a single and a walk, and his middle infield mate, Jose Caballero, hit a home run.

Coach Antoan Richardson and the Atlanta Braves beat the Colorado Rockies, 8–6.

Braves first baseman Dave Olsen smacked his 10th home run of the season. He is one off the National League lead.

Atlanta native Michael Harris hit one as well.

Down in the minors, Kristian Robinson hit a single, and he stole a base in his Reno Aces’ 4–3 win over the Sugar Land Space Cowboys.

BJ Murray also hit a single in his Iowa Cubs’ 11–4 win over the St. Paul Saints.
