Whether it’s the addition of Jimmy Butler, surviving the trade deadline or preparing for the three point contest, Buddy Hield’s shooting is back on track.
Hield finished with 16 points and 7 rebounds in his Golden State Warriors’125-111 win over the Milwaukee Bucks Monday night at Fiserv Forum in Wisconsin.
He shot 7-15 from the field, 2-8 from three and played over 28 minutes for the fourth consecutive game.
With that increased playing time has come increased productivity – four consecutive games in double figures and averaging 13.2 points per game in February.
Hield will represent the Warriors in the starry 3-point contest February 15 at NBA All-Star Saturday night in San Francisco.
The field also includes reigning champion Damian Lillard looking for a record tying third consecutive title, Jalen Brunson, Tyler Herro, Norman Powell, Cade Cunningham, Darius Garland, and Cam Johnson.
Hield is shooting 40 percent on the season and ranks second in the league at eight games with five or more three point field goals.

No matter the season, no matter the record – if there’s one thing Coach Yo will have Ole Miss ready to do, it’s beat the Kentucky Wildcats.
Ole Miss defeated the no. 8 Kentucky, 66-57, at the SJB Pavilion Monday night in Mississippi.
They improved to 16-7, 7-4 in the SEC.
They’re also on a six-game winning streak over the Wildcats, dating back to February 4, 2021.
They’ve also beaten the ‘cats four games in a row when Kentucky is ranked in the top 25.
Rhema Collins had a big moment early in the game, when she finished a fast break with a layup through heavy contact.
It’s been an insanely difficult schedule for Ole Miss as Kentucky was their eighth ranked opponent of the season – and we’re not even halfway through February.
In the latest addition of the AP Poll, Ole Miss received four top 25 votes.
