NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Thousands of Bahamians will have more on their holiday table this year, thanks to a generous donation from Royal Caribbean International.

This Christmas day, 20,000 pounds of fresh bone-in hams and chicken, will reach homes across The Bahamas, as Royal Caribbean International made the mega donation to The Bahamas Feeding Network today.

BFN Chairman, Felix Stubbs, says the organization is faced with the daily task of providing up to 100,000 meals per month by supporting over 100 feeding programs, which is why this donation will go a long way.

Government Relations Vice President for Royal Caribbean Group, Russell Benford says giving back to the Feeding Network is something they look forward to.

State Minister for Social Services and Urban Development, Lisa Rahming also thanking Royal Caribbean for their contribution as she says the government cannot meet the needs of the people alone.
