NASSAU , BAHAMAS – The Game Zone at Baha Mar Resort promises to captivate children of all ages, while evoking a sense of nostalgia among adults.

One of the resort’s latest additions, it can be found along the walkway of Grand Hyatt, shining with lights from more than 50 arcade games.

Here’s Game Zone Manager Desmond Brown.

Desmond Brown – Manager, Game Zone

“We have some iconic games like Top Gun Maverick, we have the Fast and Furious racing simulators, and we have our newest Mega Shot Deluxe.”

Brown told Denielle that their range of games also includes choices for children as young as two years old.

“We have some smaller kiddie games for the little toddlers. We have some kiddie rides, some Octonauts.”

And although you can’t put a price tag on fun, there is an in-house card patrons must use to access the games. The standard amount that must be applied to the card is $50.

But he says the cost for a single game is as low as $2 per session.

“Our games range from two to four dollars, so that fifty dollars can take you a really long way. Sometimes we give you bonus credits when you spend certain amounts, so you get even more for spending fifty dollars.”

And then, Denielle had the opportunity to put aside my microphone and take a seat in the Fast and Furious simulator.

Denielle Miller – demiller@cablebahamas.com

“Get that, I came in first. I came first. Get that. Listen, it started off rocky. Don’t worry, I don’t drive like that on the streets of Nassau, only here at Game Zone I drive like that.”
