NASSAU , BAHAMAS – Baha Mar continues to expand its reach and attract elite Division I college sports programs to The Bahamas.

The latest initiative in its many projects is NCAA volleyball.

Elite NCAA women’s volleyball is heading to The Bahamas this fall when the inaugural Paradise Invitational, powered by GS Global Sports, gets underway September 11 through 13 at the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar.

The four-team showcase will feature the Kentucky Wildcats out of the SEC, the Houston Cougars of the Big 12, the Big Ten’s Purdue Boilermakers, and the SMU Mustangs of the ACC.

Organizers said the goal is to elevate the sport by combining world-class volleyball with a unique international setting, and it begins with a star-studded field that had several deep tournament runs in 2025.

Kentucky finished as the national runner-up, Purdue made the Elite Eight, and SMU reached the Sweet 16.

Beyond the court, the weekend will include fan events, team access opportunities, and destination experiences.
