NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Bahamas is at risk of polio and other deadly diseases according to our PAHO and W.H.O Representative Dr. Eldonna Boisson.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Bahamas is at risk of polio and other deadly diseases according to our PAHO and World Health Organization Representative Dr. Eldonna Boisson.
She says it’s a disappointing and dangerous trajectory that is a stark change from our old track record.
While we’re usually happy to hear about tourism numbers being up, Dr. Boisson says it could actually put us at higher risk.
She urges parents to get their children vaccinated.
