NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Bahamas basketball Head Coach Moses Johnson announced in a press conference this week that The Bahamas basketball team is headed to the FIBA Pre-olympic Tournament in Argentina. 

Coach Johnson announced this development in a press conference where Bahamas Basketball Association President Eugene Horton outlined the selection process for the latest crop of Bahamas basketball coaches. 

The Bahamas had three NBA players and a crop of experienced overseas professionals and high-level college players to round out its ranks. 

Details were mum on who exactly will play in Argentina, but we will have the list as soon as it’s available. 

The GSSSA soccer finals wrapped up at the Roscow A. Davies football field earlier this week. 

H.O. Nash took home the championship in the junior girls division, beating C.H. Reeves 2-0. 

Anatol Rodgers beat S.C. McPherson 3-1 to take the junior boys title.

The C.R. Walker Knights beat R.M. Bailey 3-0 with all three goals courtesy of a hat trick by Valtinique Simmons to win senior girls. 

And, Government High beat C.R. Walker 2-1 to win the senior boys crown.
