NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Bahamas Carnival is back! After a pandemic hiatus and a soft re-launch last year, organizers say this year’s re-launch is expected to be even bigger and better.

The fete continues as Bahamas Carnival returns to the roads of Nassau this May 18-21.

His Excellency Sebastian Bastian, founder of Polantra Media Group, says significant investments have been made into the product and the payoff has been evident.

Bastian said Bahamas Carnival also helps to diversify the tourism product.

Some 14 bands have already come on board to participate. According to former president of the Band Owners Association, Dario Terrelli, they can expect an even more picturesque route.

And of course, completing the carnival experience, there will be a grand concert featuring the best in Bahamian and international names.

The rising star competition will also make its return this year. To find out how you can enter a custom song, be sure to tune into Our News Weekend Edition.
