Bahamas National Teammates Face-Off in The NBA

ARIZONA, USA – Eric Gordon and Deandre Ayton shared the court in Argentina over the summer when they helped The Bahamas National Basketball Team get the biggest win in its history. This time around, however, they were going at it against each other in the NBA as Gordon’s Phoenix Suns took on Ayton’s Portland Trailblazers on Monday night.

Eric Gordon’s Phoenix Suns Overcome Deandre Ayton’s Portland Trailblazers 120-107

ARIZONA, USA – Eric Gordon and Deandre Ayton shared the court in Argentina over the summer when they helped The Bahamas National Basketball Team get the biggest win in its history. This time around, however, they were going at it against each other in the NBA as Gordon’s Phoenix Suns took on Ayton’s Portland Trailblazers on Monday night.

Gordon got the better of this matchup as his Suns beat the Blazers 120 to 107 thanks to his 10 points that came on 4 of 5 shooting including 2 of 3 from beyond the three-point line. 

Kevin Durant had 31 points, 4 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the Suns to the win and Devin Booker had 28 points and 6 assists. 

Ayton had 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the losing effort. 

Gordon and his Suns will take on another player with Bahamian heritage tonight in Klay Thompson and the Warriors while the Blazers will try to regroup against the Utah Jazz.
