Commission Aims To Grow National Sport
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The National Sailing Commission Chairman is Dallas Knowles.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The National Sailing Commission Chairman is Dallas Knowles.
Formed earlier this year to grow the sport in the country, the commission is getting things up and running and they have big plans.
Committee member Dwayne Higgins talked about how the commission, in conjunction with the Ministries of Education and Family Island Affairs, plan to actively get youth involved in the sport.
University Basketball
The UB Mingoes dropped two games in South Florida to United international College.
They lost the first game 76-64. Tim Grand led the team with 12 points and 6 rebounds and floor general Theodore Grant had 11 points and 12 assists. Unfortunately, they fell in the second game 101-55.
Despite the losses, head coach Bacchus Rolle is hopeful for the team’s NPBA schedule.
