Bahamas National Teammates Help Their Teams To Wins

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Bahamians National Team Teammates Deandre Ayton and Eric Gordon helped their respective teams secure wins in the NBA on Wednesday night.

PORTLAND, OREGAN – Bahamians National Team Teammates Deandre Ayton of the Portland Trailblazers and Eric Gordon of the Phoenix Suns helped their respective teams secure wins in the NBA on Wednesday night. 

Ayton’s athleticism and length were on full display against Bucks’ defensive stalwarts Giannis Antetokounmpo and Brook Lopez as he logged a double-double, scoring 20 points on 10-17 shooting along with 11 rebounds as he helped his Blazers get a win against the Milwaukee Bucks, playing in their second game with new head coach Doc Rivers.

Anfernee Simons led the team with 24 points and 5 assists. Malcolm Brogdon added 14, 6 and 6. Giannis led the Bucks in their 2nd straight loss with 27, 8 and 4. 

Eric Gordon and his Suns beat the Brooklyn Nets on their homecourt 136-120. Playing in the starting lineup for the 20th time in only 40 games, Gordon scored 17 points on 6 of 8 shooting, making 5 of his 9 three-point attempts. He added 2 rebounds and 4 assists to his effort.

Gordon played primarily off Kevin Durant, who had 33 points, 5 rebounds, and 8 assists. Jusuf Nurkic also had 28, 11 and 6. Cam Thomas led Brooklyn with 25 points. 

Both teams are in action again on Friday night. Ayton will have his hands full with reigning championship MVP Nikola Jokic while Gordon will take the court again on Friday night in A-Town against the Hawks. .
