NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Former Androsian resident, Latara Adderley shares the same sentiments as our ancestors that our healing is in the trees.

In an effort to assist preserve this culture and promote the conservation of native plants, the Bahamas National Trust hosting a native plants and bush tea event at the Retreat on Village Road.

Youth organizations, friends, families and individuals not only getting the opportunity to sample the all natural teas, but also getting a practical lesson of going into the bush.

When correctly prepared, this ancient art of tea is soothing to the taste buds and rejuvenating to the body.
