NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Bahamasair’s Freeport City Ticket Office was destroyed during Hurricane Dorian, forcing the office to relocate to the Grand Bahama International Airport.

Well on Friday morning, the office returned to Downtown, Freeport.

Deputy Prime Minister Chester Cooper says the new location in the Tropical Commercial Center on West Mall Drive will provide convenient access for customers

Deputy Director for the Northern Region Harold Williams says the former office at the airport caused a lot of challenges.

Senator Kirk Russell says Downtown, Freeport is rebounding.

The ribbon was cut for the new office and several former employees were honored for their many years of service.

Some former and current employees reflected on Bahamasair’s growth over the years and applauded the company for this latest move.
