SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS – A trio of Bahamas youth flag football teams traveled to San Antonio for the USA Flag World Championships this weekend.

On Friday, The Bahamas’ under-13 boys team went undefeated, posting a 2-0-1 record, beating and outscoring two opponents 31-6 and tying the other.

The U-14s went 1-2 picking up a couple of losses before they beat the San Antonio Cowboys 25-0.

In the high school division, Team 242 went 2-1 with wins over Adrenaline 830 and the Texas Trash Pandas.

All three teams lost yesterday in the knockout round ending their bids for tournament championships. Despite the losses, the tournament provided valuable experience for our young athletes in our local fledgling flag football scene.
