Ayton had 2 points and 6 rebounds in 33 minutes.

LeBron James had to dig deep to get the win, scoring 29 points, grabbing 13 rebounds, and dishing out 6 assists to lead the squad.

He also hit a clutch three to tie the game with 13 seconds left.

Marcus Smart had 21 points, including 8 in overtime to help get the win.

Ayton’s defensive assignment, Alparin Senguin, had 33 points and 16 rebounds to lead the Rockets.

VJ Edgecombe fell to 2-1 in their series against the Boston Celtics.

The kid from Bimini had a rough outing, going 5-17 from the field to score 7 points, missing all 7 of his three point attempts, but still managed to crash the boards, grabbing 10 rebounds.

Tyrese Maxey had 31 to lead the Sixers.

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown had 25 a piece for the Celtics.

The Yankees’ second baseman hit his 2nd home run in many games during his team’s 12-4 blowout of the Houston Astros.

He went 3-4 with 4 RBI, two of which came on a single in the top of the first inning, giving the Yankees an early lead.

His home run was a solo shot in the 4th, and he also had an RBI in the 7th on a single, making this his best game of this young season.

His mentee, Ronald Acuna, also hit a home run.

Down in the minors, Kristian Robinson continues on his major league trajectory, going 1-4 with a single stolen base, and a run scored, as his Reno Aces eked out a win over the El Paso Chihuahuas.
