Bail Denied for Man Accused of Raping Teen Roomate
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 50-year-old man accused of raping a woman who was living in his house has been denied bail.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 50-year-old man accused of raping a woman who was living in his house has been denied bail.
Prosecutors say Christopher Bain gave the 19-year-old a place to stay.
The woman alleges that Bain raped her at his home on September 14.
Bain didn’t have to enter a plea to the charge when he stood before Magistrate Abigail Farrington.
Bail was denied and Bain is due back in court on January 20, 2026 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers
