NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man has denied involvement in a $12,000 robbery.

Prosecutors allege that 27-year-old Jimmy Jean, while concerned with another, robbed Peter Knowles of a deposit bag as he left Sbarro on Cable Beach.

Jean pleaded not guilty to charges of robbery with violence and abetment to robbery at his arraignment before Acting Chief Magistrate Ancella Evans.

Jean was denied bail and his trial is scheduled for July 29.
