NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man on bail for two murders is back behind bars after he was allegedly found with two pistols and ammunition.

Police arrested Mario Cuffe, 23, on March 1 after he was allegedly found with two 9mm pistols and 19 rounds of 9mm ammunition.

Cuffe denied the charges at his arraignment before Magistrate Lennox Coleby.

He was denied bail because at the time of his arrest, he was on bail for two murders in which a gun was used.

Prosecutors say Cuffe shot and killed Travon Joseph and attempted to murder Nelson Adderley on December 30, 2022.

They were both shot while outside a home on Key West Street.

He’s also accused of the June 24, 2021 shooting death of Gladstone Francis and the attempted murder of Savanna Francis.

They were shot in a drive-by shooting at First Street.
