NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Two police officers charged with killing a man while he attended a family gathering in Yellow Elder Gardens.

Constables Kevin Greenslade and Robert Young are charged with manslaughter in the March 25, 2019 shooting of 21-year-old Shanton Forbes.

The officers, who have been suspended pending the outcome of of their case, were arraigned before Justice Gregory Hilton today.

He assigned the matter to Justice Jeanine Weech-Gomez for trial.

The officers will appear before her court on March 19 to get a trial date.
